Hello You!
I am so glad you found this page of my website, We find ourselves in the most challenging of times right now - but we are all in this together. The COVID-19 virus has changed all our 'normal' daily lives and we are now faced with having to make the best of this situation, while we stay home, stay safe, protect our NHS and save lives. With families stuck at home trying to home school and many people in isolation, trying to fill the days with things to calm anxious and weary minds, I really want to do something to help make the situation a little better in some small way. The art, craft and design community are very well placed to help keep you all supplied with ideas, inspiration and creative things to do, to sooth and calm those tired minds. Many of us are creating free resources for you to use at this time. And that is exactly what I plan to do too. I will be using this website page to regularly offer some freebies, ideas and resources. It will also be used to help point you in the direction of other interesting, fun and free creative resources from other artists and small businesses - so that you'll have an easy place to find things to do and keep your mind focused on positive and creative activities. |
One of the things I have that I can certainly offer up to help is LOTS of line drawings! All my illustrations and designs start as black pen drawings. Which means I have a vast collection of line drawn imagery that I can tap into, to create lots of colour-in resources for you to download,
print and use for free, So let's start there. Above are the first of the free download and print, colour-in sheets for you. I hope to offer things that appeal to adults and children studying from home, so that parents can enjoy some precious colouring-in time with their kids. Below is a section that links to other freebies, from other small businesses. It's a mixture of creative projects and things you may find useful to help tackle stress and anxiety at this time. They're mix of things I have spotted in my social media feeds that caught my eye. This page will be updated and added to as and when I find and make new resources to share with you all. I saw this website come up in my Facebook feed and it was a wonderful, calming and educational distraction. 50 bird species and the sounds they make. Make sure your volume is on and turned up, then click on each bird and listen and learn what songs they each sing.
