APRIL - PLAYING WITH PATTERNS...

Around this time of year, behind the scenes
there's lots of admin and paperwork to catch up on.  
All very dull but extremely necessary.  

However to compensate,
while not being able to get fully stuck into a big project as much as I'd like -
I find it's a good time to spend a couple of hours escaping the paperwork
by creating patterns from previous design elements.
 
I seem to have developed a habit of making pattern stock
for my Spoonflower, Society 6 and Redbubble shops
around this time of year, as a way of having a bit of playtime.

Here are some of the results of that playtime....

I am hoping to add these with a big batch of new patterns to my Spoonflower shop this April and will be sure to announce that on Instagram when they are ready.

Meanwhile, as a result of this time spent putting together patterns,
​I have created two new gift wrap designs for my Etsy shop.
