Happy December! The festive season is here and home-baked sweet treats fill the air with the scent of Christmas, enticing two cheeky little robins to check on the preparations If you would like to get this FREE desktop wallpaper, then here's a link to where to join my mailing list: JOIN MY MAILING LIST HERE For those of us (myself included) that find this time of year a challenge because it's our least favourite season - I've tried to find some winter themed 'reasons to be cheerful' to help see us all through... Yes the days are short - but winter sunsets can be stunning and those night skies are glorious. Yes, it is hard not having lots of colourful blooms to cheer us up - but there are plenty of berries and foliage for those who care to look closely. Of course the swifts and swallows have flown to warmer climates - but there's plenty of winter wildlife sticking around to keep us company. Gathered here are some designs from my collections that celebrate the beauty of winter, I hope they help you find something to uplift your spirit and warm your heart... With the end of the year and Christmas nearly here, I do need to share some important dates for last Christmas orders at my online shops. My online shops will be switched to holiday shipping timescales (3 weeks) from the 15th December and will be back to business as usual (shipping within 3-5 days) from 3rd January. All orders placed after 15th December will be shipped asap from 3rd January... Thank you for all your custom and support throughout 2023, Wishing you all a very happy, healthy and peaceful December! Happy Holidays!

Happy October! As the days grow shorter, the fearless wild swimmers pull on their bobble hats and take to the water, soaking in the colours of autumn much to the amusement of the native wildlife. If you would like to get this FREE desktop wallpaper, then here's a link to where to join my mailing list: JOIN MY MAILING LIST HERE With a change of season it's a good time to stop, look around and take in the colours and scenery. Part of that for me has been having a look at my designs in the wild. It's a great way to see how those designs have inspired others. Which in turn inspires me to create more and make more of what my customers desire. It's a wonderful, cyclical thing! Today on this blog I want to share some of my work in the wild, from snaps on the shop floor to photos Etsy customers have kindly sent me of their purchases in situ. Each image has filled me with joy and inspiration and I am grateful for every one of them. I love seeing what you do with my artwork, thank you so much!... The images above and below are from the Crafty Collective Bridgwater, a gift shop in the heart of our town. The way these have been displayed have made me very happy, the colours pop and greet you warmly as you walk into the shop... These next images below, have been kindly sent to me on customer reviews on my Etsy shop. There's much talk of the 'happy dance' handmade sellers make when they sell their creations. There has to be a whole new scale of 'happy dance' for when a maker sees images of their work in the wild being loved and used! Thank you so much for taking the time to send me these photos, I wish you could see how much they make me smile!... I hope you have enjoyed seeing my work in the wild and that
the colours inspire you this season. Wishing you a very lovely October! Best wishes, |
