the fresh buds and abundance of flora...

Throughout February, I have been sharing development of my new collection
'Nature Alphabet' over at my Instagram and Facebook page. 

The aim of this collection is to illustrate an initial letter with some of the nature
and wildlife that also begins with that letter.  
Mostly wildlife that can be found locally to me, to help others identify the nature
around them and give names to the plants and animals.  

This collection is very much a work in progress unfolding over on my Intsagram
and Etsy shop, as I am adding the finished letters to Etsy as I go.

Over at my Etsy, I am adding the designs as they complete, where they will be available in a choice of background colours.  They are also available as personalised prints, ideal for nursery's, children's rooms and new baby gifts...

My plan for March is to crack on and get as many more done as possible.

March has been a productive month for getting stuck into some new designs.

As well as beginning to add lots of new flowers to my language of flowers collection, I have also started creating a collection of gardening and nature inspired occasions cards to launch my new Thortful profile.  

My plan is to also make this collection available on my Etsy and Folksy shops soon, but have a few more designs to add before getting the collection printed and listed.

Meanwhile, I am delighted to share with you the progress on this collection so far for a closer look...

I am also sharing here a closer look at the new additions to the Language of Flowers collection, added to my Etsy shop in the past couple of weeks.

On the subject of Sunflowers...

Seeing lots of the art community coming together last month to raise donations for The British Red Cross to help the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, gave me an idea.  

So I released this 'Peace' illustration (originally created as a stand with Ukraine Instagram post) as a printable from my Ko Fi shop - where you can donate what you like, with a minimum of £3, to download and print this artwork from a PDF file.   

As copyright owner, I am also allowing usage of this printable artwork for any charity fundraising for Ukraine.

If you think you can use this image on posters, cards, t-shirts, whatever, to help raise donations for Ukraine, go right ahead.

Usage for profit however is not allowed - strictly personal and charitable use only please....
