A New Home for my Blog...

Hello!

Welcome to the new home for my blog !

For the past 6 years (since I began this business) my blog has been over on blogger. It's been good,  but now I feel the need to have a change and streamline the way I work a little...

​Streamlining the way I work has been a bit of a goal for me since this year began.  
One of the things I've noticed happening since starting my business is, as it develops, so do all the associated tasks that come with running a business.  Sometimes it seems easier to stick with what you have always done.  In the long run though, that may not be the best way to do things.  Especially when it takes you away from doing the things you love most.

It gets very frustrating when the tasks of managing the day to day stuff gets in the way of the reason for wanting to start the business in the first place.  In my case the reason for starting was to create, draw, illustrate & design.  That's the bit that makes me happy.  That's the bit that makes me want to come to my desk and get stuck in...

It's for these reasons that I am having a go at merging my blog with my website.  To cut down on faff and spend less time tinkering with the mechanics of blogs.  I want to put that time to better use with more drawing and designing.

You may have noticed I have also trimmed my online shops down to see if that helps free some time up and make my working day a little more efficient.  

It's a bit like having a spring clean by decluttering my working life to make things better in the future.  It feels really good and I can thoroughly recommend it!

My blog will continue as usual, but from now on, over here on my website.  
I look forward to continuing to share work in progress, inspiration, new designs, business tips, things I've learnt, plenty of pretty things I've found and lots of reasons to be cheerful.
