AUGUST - A PEEP AT CALENDAR WORK IN PROGRESS...

Happy August!

It’s the perfect month for heading to the coast.  
​This month, we look out from the sand dunes, past the sea holly to the rolling waves.  These salty sea dogs know to stay safely between the red and yellow flags when going for a dip, as the RNLI are keeping a watchful eye on the tide.

August is also the month to finalise my annual wall calendar and get the first print run off to the printers.  Over the past few months I have been slowly gathering illustrations to add into the calendar.  Many of those have been adapted and used as the monthly desktop wallpapers. Over the next few weeks, I need to complete the remaining illustrations needed to have a full set of 12.  
Today I am sharing a few of the completed ones that have made the cut
​to give you a taste of things to come soon....

The cover design is complete, but it's mainly the autumn and winter months that need to be done.  That's OK because it will also help me prepare for the coming seasons with designs...

Next month, I hope to share the remaining illustrations for the calendar as we welcome Autumn in.
