Happy New Year! Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and the first week of 2017 has treated you well. The main thing I love about New Year is the promise of spring just around the corner - my favourite time of year. The days start getting ever so slightly longer and little green shoots start appearing in the ground. I've been dotting little pots of narcissus bulbs in windowsills all around our home. The race is on to see who's little pot of flowers bloom first. I can't wait to see those little pops of yellow around our home again.... Of course January is often all about making plans, taking stock and resolving to make changes. I'm not one for big New Years Resolutions and tend to plan throughout the year. It's a habit I picked up from my previous career in advertising and it seems to work for me, so I'm sticking with it. Some of the work I've planned is to develop more of my nature guide designs... I've been working on these last week and above is a little peek at my work in progress. My Instagram followers have been getting updates of these as they develop. These designs are in collaboration with my publisher friends at ArtEco Designs. They have already published my first two designs as blank greetings/notecards which are now available to order wholesale from them or buy as a pack of two directly from my Etsy shop. All the designs will eventually be available as cards and as prints.... The other thing I've done to kick this year off is set up a little bit of a sale over on my Etsy shop. You will find 40% off my Etsy illustration print, posters, Christmas items and gift wrap until 31st January 2017, so you can snap up a bargin to brighten your walls ready for spring, like these nature guide posters below (now £7.20 reduced from £12) I hope 2017 will be a great, colourful year to all, filled with peace, joy and kindness....and of course plenty of flowers, always! Best wishes Angie
