Happy New Year!

I hope this new decade brings, peace, health and prosperity to all.

Most of all, I hope that it brings hope!
The hope that we can tackle some of the issues our natural world faces.
Deny all you like, it's clear the scientists are united and those of us who enjoy observing nature can see it. There is no doubt that we need to take more care of our only home, there is no planet b.

Which is why for my January 2020 desktop wallpaper for everyone on my email list, I am sending a bright and beautiful design packed with tiny creatures, birds and flowers and a very 'pantone classic blue, colour of the year 2020' planet earth, wrapped in a quote I am rather fond of and think fits the times we face...

It's a short and sweet blog post today as I am making the most of the time I have with my family. 2020 marks my 10th year of working as an illustrator. I embarked on this adventure when my daughters started school and nursery. Now they are both at secondary school and those years have seemed to whizz by, which is why having some time out to spend together is so much more important than writing a long blog post (sorry, not sorry!).

I will be back to business as usual on
Monday 6th January.
