Happy July! To celebrate the launch of my new language of flowers collection, this month the desktop wallpaper features all the warm and bright, birth flowers, sweetly gathered together in a summer garden. It's something that has been rattling around my head for a while. The appearance of the sunshine after so many months of rain, certainly gave me a shot of energy to get these done.... Each of the prints are available in a choice of light or dark green background... The reason I wanted to get the full set completed, is I had a couple of additional products I wanted to offer from these illustrations. One is a personalised, family birth flowers print, featuring a choice of 3 classic ceramic jugs for a posy of flowers representing each member of the family - up to 8 names.... Each of the flowers taken from the birth flower collection, with the family name at the top of the print in the same style... The idea being, to offer something very uniquely personal for each family. The other idea was to use the entire collection to create a perpetual calendar to make a note of birthdays. anniversaries and special events.... These calendars are hot from the printers and have only just been listed over at my Etsy shop. At £10 including UK postage, they make pretty and useful gifts.... June definitely felt like more productive month creatively. I even managed to get another addition to my Nature Guides collection completed. Introducing, 'British Pond Life', now also available from my Etsy shop. To help all those little nature detectives discover all the creatures and plants we share our parks and gardens with, especially on summer days out.
I hope you enjoyed having a closer look at my new illustrations created last month. Wishing you all a very lovely July! Best Wishes
