Happy June! Summer has arrived and outside is in full bloom. This month's desktop wallpaper features a peep through the wisteria in the rose garden, where we can spot a very loyal guardian of the barbecue! If you would like to get this FREE desktop wallpaper, then here's a link to where to join my mailing list: JOIN MY MAILING LIST HERE Throughout May, slowly but surely I have been working on new designs. This is the time of year to take full advantage of lack of big occasions to prepare my online shops for the busier gifting months later in the year. That includes working on my calendar for 2022. This month's desktop calendar image will feature in next year's calendar, along with images along a similar feel to reflect each of the months and changing seasons. Hopefully, more of this will be revealed throughout June over on my Instagram... Talking of working on calendars ready for later in the year, my 2022 full year and 2021-22 academic year wall planners are ready and have been listed over at my Etsy shop. The other new project I began developing in May, was a new 'language of flowers' collection. I have had this rattling around in my mind as an idea for a while. A couple of years ago I was briefed to create an art deco style range of occasions card - which was a little bit of a different direction for me to take style wise, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've always loved exploring vintage shops so the art deco vintage asthetic appealed to that side of me. I wanted to revisit a similar retro style of working and had an idea to create a collection of flower prints, each looking like old vintage, seed packets. The idea being that the collection can be collected because each flowers have specific meanings and some represent birth months. I envisaged a gallery wall with each flower for each family member's birth month. Here are some of the designs from the beginning of this ongoing collection. The prints featured here are now listed in my Etsy shop... My aim is to continue working on this floral collection this summer,
it's such a lovely subject to draw through the warmer months. I hope you enjoyed having a look at these new designs. Wishing you all a lovely month of June, enjoying all the summer blooms Best Wishes
