 Hello! & Happy March! Whether you are enjoying the snow or the spring flowers, I hope this month finds you well. Mother's day is nearly upon us here in the UK. Sunday 11th March is the date to remember. Over at my Etsy and Folksy shops you'll find lots of lovely spring flavoured paper goods to help you find something pretty for those wonderful mothers....  I've added some more sets of 2, A5 illustration prints, which make lovely gifts. Also in stock are plenty of my handy A5 planner notepads, that fit nicely into handbags and are colourful way to stay organised....  Also back in stock is my Spring Bunnies gift wrap. Over at my Etsy shop, I offer a gift wrapping service, where any of my gift wraps can be used to beautifully wrap orders that are being sent out as a gift. This one is ideal at this time of year, as don't forget, Easter is at the end of this month too (Easter Sunday 1st April this year)....  The big news for all designer makers who regularly use Instagram is, March is the month of... #MarchMeetTheMaker It's an Instagram wide event/challenge organised by the fantastic Joanne Hawker (who is also a Somerset designer maker & Captain of our Somerset Etsy Team). She has set up a dedicated site to help those taking part plan their posts. I definitely plan to take part as much as I can this month. I've previously done the November #MeetTheMakerWeek events and found it a great way to discover other lovely businesses, network with like-minded creatives and discover more about my favourite makers. It's so good to find out about how the things I've bought from online maker marketplaces got dreamt up and created. (tee hee!) ...  Finally, a new month means that all the lovely people on my email list get a newsletter with a free desktop wallpaper for the month. March's desktop wallpaper features my little iconic sparrow (I say iconic as she seems to feature on lots of my branding). The reason is, I adore spring, it's my favourite time of year....and in case it's not obvious (ha!) I am rather fond of birds too! We have a few regular visitors to our garden, not least the lovely little sparrows. They make me smile every time I see them in the branches of the trees or around the flower beds.
