November - Christmas is on it's way...

I noticed this morning that it's been nearly a month since my last blog post (and dare I say, it's only a month to Christmas Eve).  So, it must be time to share some of my festive offerings with you and summarise my November... 

This month has whizzed by, with all the dark, cold and rainy days I have been focusing on the design work on my desk.  This month has seen a lot of commission work as my clients prep up for what is often their most busy time of year.  Among the projects I've been working on, there's been plenty more pattern work and I have created a new set of fabric designs for Spoonflower.  I am happy to say I ordered proof swatches of that collection this week and will have 15 new prints available to purchase from Spoonflower very soon.  If you'd like a little peep at what's coming, you can see those new designs here....

There are also quite a few festive patterns already listed and available on my Spoonflower, including this new Robins print, ideal for anyone who fancies a bit a of seasonal creative project to see them through the dark winter evenings  (the test swatches look quite pretty in 5" embroidery hoops as pictured below).  You can find my current Autumn & Winter Spoonflower fabric collection here...

And, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over at my Etsy and Folksy shops as they are now stocked with all things festive, including these new Christmas card designs, and restock of my festive wraps...

If, like me, you are now frantically ordering things online for Christmas, you may find this little guide to the Royal Mail posting dates for this year very handy.  

Please be aware that with my online shops, most items are posted within 3-5 working days of placing an order.  With that in mind, I am calling Thursday 15th December my last day for Christmas orders for UK and Wednesday 30th November for most International destinations.  Orders made after those dates are unlikely to arrive in time for Christmas....

I hope posting these dates here is as useful to you as it is to me.  I have also put a slide of it on the about section of my Etsy shop too.
